General Information
The Penn Traffic Company and its Subsidiaries[1] (collectively “Penn Traffic” or the “Company”) filed for protection, under Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code, in the US Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware (the “Bankruptcy Court”), on November 18, 2009. On October 27, 2010, the Bankruptcy Court confirmed the Third Amended Consolidated Chapter 11 Plan of the Debtors (the “Plan”). The Effective Date of the Plan was November 1, 2010. The Plan provides for the monetization of all assets and distribution of the proceeds to Creditors holding Allowed Claims.
